Binckley remained the editor of The Herald until he sold it to Louis Zoercher, then The News publisher, in 1909. After Zoercher sold The Herald to a group of businessmen based in Jasper the newspaper returned to Jasper. Albert T. Rumbach, was a businessman whose descendants were in charge of The Herald for almost a century already. Current managing editor Justin Rumbach is a representative of the fourth generation of Rumbach family at The Herald. His father John A. Rumbach and Dan E.
