Key areas of focus include biodiversity, enterprise development and conservation; climate change impact mitigation and adaptation; environmental management planning; business and socioeconomic development and dynamics; appraisal and impact assessment of private and public sector investments; access to social services including health and education; and enhancing community participation and equitable utilization of aquatic resources. We seek to provide and or clarify scientific understanding, technologies and services which can be used as public goods to preserve and favourably impact on both the environment and its natural resource base, while improving human well-being in utilization of aquatic resources |
