Edmund Berrigan (born 1974) is an author.[1], poet and musician currently residing in Brooklyn, New York. Berrigan has previously authored two books of poetry and a memoir as well as working as an editor.

Biography

Early Life & Family

Edmund Berrigan is an American writer and musician born in Colchester, England. He is the brother of poet and teacher Anselm Berrigan. He is the son of poets Alice Notley and the late Ted Berrigan. He grew up among the New York School Poets, having moved back to the states after his father's year-long teaching stint at the University of Essex. His early life was marked by the passing of his father and his late half-sister, Kate Berrigan, five years later[2]
