Eduardo Fermé (born 1964) is a computer scientist and philosopher. He received a PhD in Computer Science in 1999 at University of Buenos Aires under the supervision of Carlos Alchourrón and Sven Ove Hansson and a PhD in Philosophy in 2011 at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Fermé’s research has focused mainly on belief revision and non-monnotonic reasoning, extending or modifying in several of his publications the AGM theory. He has published numerous articles in English, Spanish and Portuguese. He is considered a reference in formal epistemology in Latin America.
