See Edward H. Kendall

Edward H. Kendall was an architect in New York City. He designed homes across from each other (diagonally) for Ogden Goelet and his brother.[1] He employed terracotta on the exterior of his American Express Co. Building at Hudson and Jay Streets.[2] He also designed the Cyrus W. Field Building (Cyrus W. Field) at the Battery and

Broadway.[3][4] Seems to have become the Washington Building at One Broadway and was later modified eith limestone facade when it was purchased but retained seals and nautical decor on its interior.

Albert Levy (photographer) photographed the Fifth Avenue home he built for Ogden Goelet. He was elected to head the American Institute of Architects Board of Directors when George B. Post was elected president (1896?).[5]
