Elvira P. de Lara-Tuprio is a Filipina mathematician, specializing in financial mathematics and mathematical analysis.{{r|profile}} She is the chair of the mathematics department at Ateneo de Manila University.{{r|fac}}

After studying at a public school in the Phillipines, de Lara-Tuprio came to Ateneo de Manila University as an undergraduate, and graduated from there in 1990.{{r|wtf}} She earned her PhD from Ateneo in 1997, and added a master's degree in financial mathematics from the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2010.{{r|profile}}
