PROFILE OF HON. (LADY) EMEM EMMANUEL IBANGA- ADIAHA AFAHA

Hon. (Lady) Emem Ibanga, Adiaha Afaha, a dependable administrator, a princess of a royal but humble family of Emmanuel Ibanga in Ikot Akpabio, Afaha Ndisiak in Nsit Atai Local Government Area and a politician, was born into the royal Christian family of the aforementioned.

She started her early education at Abak International Nursery School, Abak where she completed and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1991 with Distinction.

Thereafter, she proceeded to Immaculate Conception Secondary School, Itak, in Ikono Local Government Area, for her Secondary School Certificate in 1998. The vibrant and energetic young Emem was admitted into the University of Uyo to study Political Science and Public Administration between 1998-2005 and obtained Bachelor of Science Degree (B.Sc.), later proceeded for mandatory one year National Youth Service.

Not willing to be idle after her youth service year, she jointly, with persons of like minds, set up a private business concern EMMADEE FROZEN FOODS ( NIG), and served as Regional Manager between 2008-2011, and also served as logistics coordinator Exxon Mobil Eket, contract based and Fortune was in her favour as she got employed into the Akwa Ibom State Civil Service and was posted to Ministry of Rural Development, where she served as a Community Development Officer II between 2011-2017

Hon (Lady) Emem Ibanga Adiaha Afaha coming into Politics to serve the people of Nsit Atai is neither an impromptu consideration nor a matter of compulsion, but the will of God, she believe in herself that she have what it takes to serve in the capacity of the Executive Chairman of Nsit Atai Local Government Area the position she is occupying today.

Politically Hon Lady Emem Emmanuel Ibanga is an activist and an ardent believer of Her Excellency empowerment/ life-touching Project FEYReP, DAKKADA Initiative and 5 point Agenda of His Excellency the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Deacon Udom Emmanuel, She is versed with the political equation, calculation and configuration of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, She is a generous philanthropist, a resilient and resolute lady, currently running her Master Degree in Political Science, she has received so many awards and titles among whom is the Adiaha Afaha.

Her hobbies include Watching documentary, Listening to News and Achieving success at work.

She is a mother of two children; John and Tamara.

Sponsored contingent during second Akwa Ibom Youth Sports Festival

Sponsored female footballers (FEYReP Queens) to a tournament at Kwara state and they won a trophy and ticket to represent Nigeria abroad.
