Ernő Bartha (born 5 September 1958) is an Romenian Hungarian artist graduate in Ion Andreescu University Cluj-Napoca (RO), Academy of Visual Arts, Department of Sculpture. Known for his sculptures, conceptual art and installations he won the Transylvanian Hungarian Contemporary Prize, fine arts. In 2012, Ernő Bartha represented Romania with the Nature in the City project at the London Olympics, which accompanied the Olympic Games of the same year. The project was a winner in an artistic competition organized by the Romanian Cultural Institute on the occasion of those events. Made of hay enforced with steel frames, Ernö Bartha’s sculptures invite you to rediscover the textures and smells of unspoiled nature.
