Esenam NyadorEsenam Nyador is a Gender activist and a taxi driver, who has been running her taxi service called Miss Taxi since 2013. She is 40 years old mother of two boys, who has broken the glass ceiling in the male dominated commercial transport industry in Ghana.[1] She runs a taxi company called Miss Taxi and is working on two projects one called 'Women moving the City' which is training 72 female commercial drivers to drive the Commuter buses (Ayalolo buses) in Accra. Her second project called 'Women moving trucks' is to train female truck drivers. Both projects are funded by GIZ Ghana and Scania West Africa and West Africa Transport Academy (WATA).[1][2] EducationShe holds a Master’s degree in Family Resource Management and a Bachelor of Arts degree; a Social Work major and a Psychology minor, both from the University of Ghana, Legon.
