Ezzatollah Soleimani Nia was born in Qorveh in 1954. After the completion of his higher education, he was employed as a teacher of literature by the Ministry of Education. He served as a teacher of Persian literature in Qorveh until retirement

biography

Since 1977, because of his talent and great passion for painting, he has turned to this art as a self-taught painter. From the very beginning, he has been inspired by the verses of the Quran, Hadiths and the words of the great poets of Iran, especially Mawlana (Rumi), in his paintings.

Soleimani Nia, in addition to teaching literature, taught arts at middle schools, and trained many students in this field. Inspirations for most of the works produced in all these years have originated from Quranic verses, Hadiths and poems of elites.^[1]

Soleimani Nia, along with his main job as a teacher of Persian literature, taught painting and calligraphy to many students.^[2]

The unique feature that distinguishes Soleimani Nia is the fact that it is rare for top tier painters to learn painting and reach a high level of excellence as a self-taught painter. Personal issues have prevented him from producing many works so far, but the depth of his mastery can be found in these works; a clear proof of this claim is one of his works that he reproduced the portrait of Kurdish Girl by Abbas Katouzian.

In the works of Soleimani Nia, attention to the suffering of humans, and his deep look at the mystical concepts draw attentions, especially the objectification of the high-level notions in the poems of Hafez and Mawlana (Rumi).^[3]

The Exebition that displayed the works of Ezatollah Soleimani Nia, inspired by the poetry of Mawlana, was opened on the day of commemoration of Mawlana, September 30, 2018 at Sura Pardis Gallery, Bahman Theater in Sanandaj where many artists and officials of province of Kurdistan attended.^[4]^[5]
