Member of EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly. Life and activityGuliyev Faraj Ibrahim oglu was born in 1962 on the 22nd of December in Ustupu village of Ordubad region. In 1986 has been graduate from “medical-profilactic” faculty of Azerbaijan State Medical Institute. In 1989-1993 he has been the chairman of Ordubad region department of “Azerbaijan Nation Front” (ANF) party, in 1993 the chairman of executive Committee of ANF and the ANF chairman, he has been president Ebulfez Elchibey`s first deputy too. In 1990 he was elected Deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Azerbaijan Republic and was the member of the Democratic Bloc in parliament. He is one of authors preparing the "Independence Act" in the parliament and Signator Deputy too. In Azerbaijan in the territory of Ordubad region for the first time the property, weapons and equipment, 5 frontier posts which were belonging to the Soviet Army have been taken over from Russian army and nationalized under his leadership. In 1989 he has been ideologist and one of organizers of the “Boundary Movement”. He has taken possession of the military unit that is named "Soyug" from Russian soldiers together with 24 persons on December 17, 1991, which is located on the highest top in Nakhchivan and has been built here radar installation system controling the Far East. Military part of the Azerbaijan national Army is located there now. In 1995-2002 years was in prison as a political prisoner. After prison has created “Anglosaxon-Turkish Assocation” and was elected to the post of president of this organization. In 2002 was elected to the govern staff and to the postto the vitse-chairman of the World Azerbaijanis Congress. In 2003 was elected chairman of WAC Azerbaijan representation. In 2005 has organized “National Revival Movement”. Was elected to the post of the chairman in the I congress of NRM in 07.05.2005. He is constitutor of “Yeni Dirchelish” newspaper. He has founded "Təbriz" newspaper for transmission in the South Azerbaijan and realized its edition together with "Yeni Dirçəliş" and “DAVAM”newspaper in project "Newspaper inside the newspaper". He is the honorary president of the "Şito-Ryu Karate Do" federation. He has been awarded with the international certificate and medal according to the forming of the special support to the Azerbaijan National Team in festival of international fight profession named "Sportivnaya Rossiya". He has got additional law education. He is the author of 5 books. He is sport master on sambo-wrestling. Married. Has 3 children. Faraj Guliyev has been elected the deputy of parliament from the election district of the 31th Surachani II district in the fourth call elections to the Milli Mejlis of Azerbaijan Republic in 07.11.2010. He is member of the Safety and Defence committee of the Milli Mejlis. He is member of EURONEST Parliamentary Assembly. .
