Jain.[2] Fareportal started as a business-to-business company which built and sold an online consumer interface for retail travel agents. In 2006, CEO Sam S. Jain restructured the company to focus on business-to-consumer sales with the launch of the online air travel booking site CheapOair.[3][4] Fareportal is headquartered in New York City, and has operations in North America, Europe, and Asia.
