}} Frank A. Monroe (August 30, 1844- YEAR) was a Justice of the Louisiana Supreme Court from March 22, 1899 to 1922, serving as Chief Justice from 1914 to 1922. Born at Annapolis, Md. Served in the Confederate Army during the American Civil War. Served a month as Judge of Third District Court in 1872, when he was dispossessed. Served in White League. Re-elected Judge, 1876. Judge Civil District Court, 1880-99. Member Constitutional Convention of 1898. Scheduled to succeed Judge Breaux as Chief Justice in April, 1914.
