History:The company started as a proprietorship firm under the name of Silver Homes in 2014 and was later incorporated as Funstay Services Private Limited in Nov 2015. Funstay was an outcome of its founder's common passion towards travel and business. The founders of Funstay – Nitin Agrawal & Mahim Mehta, were a bunch of travelers themselves and have traveled extensively in India, backpacked in Europe and SE Asia and experience all kind of stays in all sorts of places. They wanted to be a part of changing travel culture in India and largely it was the thrill of converting their passion into a business that brought Funstay to life. It was shortly after Nitin's return to India after completing his masters in business administration that once while sharing his way of travel with his colleagues, he realized that while many were interested in exploring living with locals and exploring extraordinary and offbeat destinations, they lack of information and credibility turned to be a major hurdle for them. It was then Nitin decided to make his passion for travel into a business and he started Silver Homes in 2014. Soon after Mahim joined him and Funstay Services Pvt Limited was incorporated. Since then they have built the organization one brick at a time and as of 2018, the team is 12 members strong with steady revenues and growing every year.
