Gary N. Kaplan (April 5, 1948 - January 17, 2017) was the founder of garykaplanphotography.com. He organized the first Artists and Artisans of Petaluma[1][2] held in the [https://www.petalumamuseum.com/ Petaluma Historic Library and Museum] from November 5 - December 27, 2015. His final photography project was entitled "The Continual Effect of Child Abuse": A Portrait Exhibition, a collaboration with Stephanie Hamilton-Oravetz. The project has since been exhibited in [https://sebarts.org/ Sebastopol Center for the Arts], California, CA and ArtGym, Denver, CO. Gary passed away after battling Lymphoma cancer for 4.5 years. He was survived by his wife, Lisa Lim.
