释义 |
Geb is an Artificial Life simulation environment designed and implemented by Dr Alastair Channon.[1]. Geb is a system designed to verify and extend theories behind the generation of evolutionary emergent systems[2][3]. Geb was one of the first artificial systems to pass Bedau and Packard's test for open-ended evolutionary activity[2], and the only such system (as of 2014) to qualify as unbounded in this metric[4] References1. ^http://www.channon.net/alastair/geb/ecal1997/channon_ad_ecal97.pdf 2. ^1 https://www.mitpressjournals.org/doi/pdf/10.1162/EVCO_a_00025 3. ^http://www.channon.net/alastair/geb/phdthesis/channon_ad_phdthesis.pdf 4. ^{{cite journal|url=https://www.mitpressjournals.org/doi/abs/10.1162/978-0-262-32621-6-ch128|title=Identifying Necessary Conditions for Open-Ended Evolution through the Artificial Life World of Chromaria|first1=L.|last1=Soros|first2=Kenneth|last2=Stanley|date=1 July 2014|publisher=|journal=The 2018 Conference on Artificial Life: A Hybrid of the European Conference on Artificial Life (ECAL) and the International Conference on the Synthesis and Simulation of Living Systems (ALIFE)|pages=793–800|via=MIT Press Journals|doi=10.1162/978-0-262-32621-6-ch128}} |
