Georgi Ingilizov is a bulgarian writer and journalist.

Biography and career

[https://bg.wikipedia.org/wiki/Георги_Ингилизов George Ingilizov] was born on 31 October, 1955 in the town of Burgas in Burgas Municipality, Burgas Province. He completed Technical High School of Sea and ocean fishing 'Gen. Vladimir Zaimov'- Burgas, specialty 'Ship mechanic'. He graduated from Veliko Tarnovo University 'St. St. Cyril and Methodius' with a specialty in Bulgarian philology.

He worked for one year as a motorman of an ocean trawler and two years - as a librarian at the DKMS / George Dimitrov's Communist Youth Union/. Since 1982 he has been a literary associate, an editor, a head of department and a secretary and from 1992 to 2011 - the editor of the regional daily newspaper 'Chernomorski far' /Bulgarian: Черноморски фар, 'Black sea lighthouse'/ - Burgas. From 1990 to 1994 he took the position of an editor of the entertaining magazine for children "Veselushko" /Bulgarian: Веселушко,"Cheerful child"/, too. Since 2011 he has been an editor of literature, art and culture magazine "More" /Bulgarian: Море, "Sea" /.

Stories and novels of George Ingilizov have been published in all major literary journals in the country and have been broadcasted by Bulgarian Radio, Radio – Varna, Radio - Stara Zagora, Radio - Shumen.

George Ingilizov's stories have been translated into Russian in the newspaper "Literary Kubany" – a story and a feuilleton (1986); in Polish language in the Polish newspaper "Kurier Szczecin" and "Glos Szczecin" - short stories (1987); in French in the French magazine "Periodicals Review" – a story (2000); in Turkish language in the Turkish magazine "Kardes Kalemler" – a story (2010) and Anthology of Bulgarian story "Sicak Taslar" (2012).

George Ingilizov is a scriptwriter of four documentaries about the collapse of "Sea Fishing" company - "Salt in the butt, thorn in the heel", "Three things," "Pompolits - before and after", "The vineyard" director Prof. George Dulgerov, 2007

A scriptriter of the documentary about fishing village of Chengene scele, located near the town of Burgas - "You know, my poor fisherman", artistic director Prof. George Dulgerov, operator Hristo Dimitrov - Hindo, 2014. The film has been aired for a first time on Bulgarian National Television, Channel 1, on the 27th September, 2015.

All films have been presented as premieres at Sofia Film Festival and have been aired on Bulgarian National Television twice.
