She co-founded the Seattle-based company Moz. CareerMuessig is the founding president of Moz, a Seattle-based company that sells inbound marketing and marketing analytics software subscriptions. She founded Moz along with her eldest son Rand Fishkin[2]. Muessig left the search marketing software company in 2012 and, since then, she is advising various organizations, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. Gillian Muessig is also CEO of the Venture Capital firm Outlines Venture Group and founding partner of the Sybilla Masters Fund, together with Microsoft veteran Alka Badshah and Outlines Venture President Anne Kennedy[3].
