It is edited by Harry Saltzgaver.[1] The Grunion Gazette was established in 1977 by Fran and John Blowitz as the Grunion Gazette.[2] In 2017, the Grunion Gazette won 1st place in the Online General Excellence category in its division of California's Better Newspapers Contest.
