There was to be a ten-episode first season, including a two-hour opening episode.[1] The show would focus on the inmates of the Guantanamo Bay detention camp at the Guantanamo Bay Naval Base.[3][2] Following the Harvey Weinstein sexual scandal, however, Oliver Stone announced he would no longer direct the series.[4] On August 3, 2018, it was announced that Showtime had decided not to move forward with the series.[5] See also
