Hakashar (In Greek Mythology)

Origin

Hakashar, pronounced (Har-car-shar) and Birth name: Xakynthios. Was originally a child born from a wishing orb made by Hecate and used by Chaos (The Creator of the universe), to later rule amongst the Olympian Gods and create balance between them. As well as this, Chaos never had a child of his own to look after and give affection to as his first children that were made were the Titans who would later go to war and lose to the Zeus and the rest of the Olympians. He also has the power of illusion magic and the creation of ice and would use it for great things later on in life.

Early Life

Xakynthios grew up with the daughter of Leto and Zeus, Artemis (Goddess of the hunt) who would later on in life become his Lover and would have a daughter with.

When growing up all of the other Gods would make fun of Xakynthios for not having any powers or being as strong as them. Poseidon would help young Gods find their abilities and discover their main roles In life. One of the classes he would teach is to control Elements such as water. So they stand in front of a fountain Poseidon in a line, one child after another. Each using their telekinetic energy (Ki) to move the water and create small splashes or ripples in the water. But when it came to Xakynthios he tried and tried, with all the other children Laughing and mocking him he grew angry and full of rage until the room around him started to form a dark fog around their feet, and his eyes turned into a misty neon blue, and the water turned to Ice. This form of power made form anger had never been seen before from any of the Gods.

What Chaos hadn't realised is that the wishing orbs he used to create Xakynthios, used a specific accuracy when asking the orb for your wish. upon wishing, he asked, "I wish for a humble son, powerful enough to create infinite balance between all the Gods and who will carry on my task legacy". But in saying that, yes he created a humble son. But he also an created a life form capable of infinite power. And in order to carry on his legacy, he would need the power of creation, and destruction. So in the split second he was created, he was made half God, and half Demon to be able to gain those abilities (Creation and Destruction).

So because of the Demon part of his blood was made for destruction, he could turn water into Ice, and when he got angry he could change the way he looked and darken the surroundings using illusion magic. This was considered Dark Telekinetic Energy, or Dark Ki. So the rest of the gods stayed away from Xakynthios because of his Dark Ki as he was considered bad news. And the only friend who still accepted him was Artemis as all the other Gods looked down on Xakynthios for his abnormal abilities.

The Blade of Hakashar

When Xakynthios turned 16, Chaos suggested he goes to a power management camp so he can learn how to control his power when he gets angry. upon entry, he was greeted by Perseus who was the groups commander and would teach them martial arts, battle strategy and controlling Ki. A few months go by and Xakynthios had made a new name for himself, Defeating a new record of 78 Minotaurs in only a month, which was forced to be ended due to the species now being on the edge of extinction. He has also made beaten another record which was the amount of swords he had gone through in only month. So because of this, Perseus decided to let Xakynthios create his own weapon, and he could make it as strong as he liked. So Perseus took him to the Blacksmith in the Camp and left him there for a day to make whatever he liked. So the blacksmith taught him some basic skills on how to shape and use all the tools correctly. Xakynthios took a while deciding what he wanted to make, but eventually decided on a dagger, so it would have speed, and would also challenge him to get closer to his opponent. He used Minotaur horn ivory for the handle, with an obsidian gem for the pommel of the dagger, and also for the rivets. And for the main blade he used dark blue tinted Steel and made double edged. As the sun started to set Xakynthios showed the blacksmith his work and he replied that its the best and most durable dagger he'd ever seen in his life, and that he should give it a name. "Hakashar" he smirked, "The Demon from our nightmares..." he followed, jokingly. The blacksmith agreed and engraved the letters H A K A S H A R down the centre of the blade on both sides. And with that off he went back to his accommodation with his new blade in his hands.

His Fall and Rise (Main Story)

Xakynthios had just turned 18, and at this point Xakynthios was out of the camp after beating Perseus in a duel using the Hakashar blade and winning his right to officially leave the camp. He left with high respect on his shoulders, shakes his comrades hands and thanks Perseus for all the help hes given him. And now him and Artemis where deeply in love and were planning on leaving Olympus and joining the mortal world to live in Athens. But Zeus despised Xakynthios as he was worried that he would one day take over his place on the thrown even though he isn't a real God, and so because of this Zeus wouldn't allow him to ever see Artemis or date her. So he would send her letters with all the letters scrambled using his illusion magic so only when Artemis open the letter, does the words unscramble and she can then read them to find out where to meet her at a specific time. So even if her father managed to find one, he wouldn't understand what they meant.

But one day, Zeus suspected something as she started receiving them very frequently, with all the plans of their run away written inside. But as he opened it he realised it was bound with illusion magic. So he took it to his brother Poseidon to reveal what it said as for a while he had been looking into illusion magic. And as he uses what hes learned to unveil what the letter is about, they also learned the exact location where Xakynthios was to meet Artemis so they could run away together. With all of her backup plans for if she got caught or stuck. So in the morning Zeus and Poseidon chained up Artemis and took her to meet Xakynthios, who was waiting for her to arrive. And as his name gets called from behind him, he turns around to see Zeus holding Artemis by her chained arms that were bound behind her back. Zeus told Xakynthios that Poseidon has decided to have a child with Artemis and is going to be locked away for the rest of her life if he ever comes to find her again.

And with that, an evil flicker passes Xakynthios' eyes and the desert below them starts to grow black with mist, the sky turns black with clouds swirling above his head. And as Xakynthios lifted his head, his eyes had turned to neon blue mist, and his body starts to transform into a dark Figure With three black horns on his head, long black claws and a scaly black skin, with blue patterns crossing all over his body. he proceeds to charge at Poseidon with immense speed and power, then summons his blade into his hands using his illusion magic and slashes Poseidon in the face, and then punches him in the stomach to bring him to his knees. He then puts his blade up to his neck but before Xakynthios could finish him off, Zeus summons his lightning bolt and hurls it at Xakynthios' back and penetrates him, "You're finished Xakynthios" Zeus says to him. "My name... IS HAKASHAR" and with that mighty roar he finished Poseidon off leaving his dead body on the floor. And as he stands up, pulls the lightning bolt out of his back and his skin regenerated instantly; He stares at Zeus with cold eyes. "You're a monster" Zeus quivered. With those words Hakashar smiled and faded away into mist. After time Hecate made another wishing orb used to revive Poseidon and to this day he holds a grudge against him.

And in the end Hakashar managed to escape Olympus and after years of searching Artemis finally found Xakynthios, not in his hakashar form, but back to normal. And a few months of reconnecting, Xakynthios and Artemis had a daughter in secret called Xenovia. But, Xakynthios and Artemis realised her fate and thought about what would happen to her if Zeus ever found out. So they took her to the island of Kos located in the east of the Greek islands and gave her to an orphan group who were heading for elsewhere in Europe soon because at the time the Spartans were invading all the islands and they wanted to ensure that she would forever be safe. So after getting stronger but staying under Zeus' radar, he says goodbye to Artemis just in case he never comes back, and head off back to Olympus to take on his final task. He traced Zeus to Atlantis where he finally approached him after all those years. He shouted his name from behind him to get his attention. And as Zeus turns round Xakynthios used his illusion to create a wall at all the entrances to the underwater city to ensure it would be only him and Zeus. Xakynthios transforms into Hakashar and the two battle for hours, every time they'd bust a hole in the glass dome Hakashar would freeze the water around it, stopping the water from flooding in. As the two are fighting to their conclusion, Zeus gets the upper hand throwing Hakashar into and through the very top of the glass dome, allowing water flow straight into Atlantis and start filling it up, as Hakashar falls back through the hole Zeus throws a bolt of lightning into the water, electrocuting him until he hits the floor in front of him. And now with Hakashar on his hands and knees, Zeus walks up to him and puts his lightning bolt up to his neck to finish him off after all this time. With the only exit now above them and water still gushing down on them both.

As Zeus asks if he has any last words. Hakashar starts to laugh quietly. Raising his eyebrow Zeus takes a step back from him as Hakashar starts to glow blue instead of black, the 3 horns disappear, his claws retract, his skin turns from a dark and scaly, to a solid black with bright blue lines and more geometrical patters. His muscles start to expand and grow he's now twice the size of his original Hakashar form and he stands up slowly to show his sharp eyes and fangs. "No Zeus, do you have any last words?!" Hakashar shouted. And as he takes one last smile he raises his hands above his head, and shoots 2 Ice spikes above him shattering the rest of the glass and as the water above them both starts to freeze into Ice spikes before hitting them, Hakashar finishes with "I'll be back" And as he closes his eyes and grins, the Ice spikes fall down on top of them, finishing them both off for good. After the other gods found out about this, Hecate knew she couldn't stick around as they'd kill her for her last wishing orbs so she decided to split up her last 7 and throw them around earth. And after this she went into hiding and hasn't been found or followed up on since. It wasn't until around 500BC that the first orb was found and used to wish Zeus back to life and out of the ocean. Once back alive and in recovery, he asked the Gods to never speak of Xakynthios again. But Artemis is still missing, it is thought she went down to earth to start a new life and hunt down the remaining monsters that still lived there such as the Minotaurs and Cyclops.

Once he was healed up from his fight around a hounded years ago, he went over to what used to be Atlantis and tried to find Hakashar. Zeus could never find him after months of searching, so he decided to send Hermes down to Hades to ask him if he ever hears anything about Xakynthios or Hakashar while he wonders the lands of the afterlife, to send them to Olympus right away. But to this day Zeus has never heard anything about Xakynthios or Hakashar. And also never found out about Xenovia.

Leading to the Present Day

Xenovia Grew up not knowing about her latent powers or the 6 remaining wish orbs and so she never seeked knowledge on how to get stronger, and not knowing her grandfather was the mighty King of the Gods she went on and eventually had children of her own, and through thousands of generation and up to the present day, Xakynthios' powers have been sent down and have become a latent ability awaiting to be awoken in the right individual to create balance once again throughout Earth, and create a new era where hakashar will thrive once more. It is thought that the one who finds the Blade and can wield it at great speed and power, is the one who can call him or herself Hakashar.
