Henco started gymnastics at the age of 5 years old at Brits Gimnastiek Klub in North West. He was coached by Jeanette Fourie. Henco Trained under her guidance until the age of 12. In 2013, He moved to Durban North Gymnastics Club where he was trained and mentored by Coach Arge Nienhuser. At this time he was 13 years old. Henco competed for South Africa in Namibia in 2017. Team South Africa Placed 1st on the podium in the team competition. He also won gold on Parallel Bars and Rings individually. In 2018, Henco represented South Africa again and contributed to the win as South Africa placed 1st in the team event. He also won gold on Rings and Parallel Bars individually. Henco Specializes in two apparatuses, Parallel Bars and Rings. In 2019, Unfortunately due to a bad injury Henco was left with 3 fractured vertebrae in his lumbar spine and left him unable to compete until further notice as he currently undergoes treatment.
