Hikayat Putera Shazlan (English: "The Story of Prince Shazlan") is an Indonesian kids show aired on Astro Ceria. Backstory Hikayat Putera Shazlan is about a boy name Shazlan in the real world. His life became easier with his fairies and their equipment such as a golden teapot and a pair of magic scissors was given to Shazlan. Unfortunately, these equipments are not helping in solving every problems he has had. This is because he still has to master the skills of receiving supernatural powers given by the magic book. The moral of the story in every episode is "You are in great control if you have a great power." After the events of Shazlan falling into a well, the fairies has made a second personality where every single objects came out of the book may came with it's consequences. Main characters - Shazlan is an orphan boy who had been moved to the town to be babysitted by his heartless aunt. Shazlan always gets mistreated by his aunt.
- Bagus and Ika is the fairies who were sent to take good care of Shazlan. They were responsible for improving his heartless, uneducated parents.
- Ms. Som is Shazlan's aunt. A very heartless, cruel woman who has no taste in fashion, even though she had owned a saloon. She has tried her best to look fancy, but always ended up looking ugly.
- Mr. Tam is Ms. Som's wife. A very lazy man, who doesn't care about his attire. A negligent man, who has a very different personality comparing to Ms. Som's.
- Fasha is Ms. Som's and Mr. Tam's daughter. A very pampered girl with no considerate feelings, and always filled with joy. She likes artists such as Paris Hilton and Britney Spears and always try to replicate their looks.
- Satiya is Shazlan's friend who loves to eat all day and will take the chance to eat anywhere he wants, as long as he has snacks and candies in his pocket. A very joyful boy who loves bright colors.
- Lydia is a tomboyish girl that loves to have a small conversation or playing with the boys. She also has a friendly relationship with Shazlan and her personality is the opposite of Fasha's.
- Aaron is the richest kid in their suburban area. He always thinks that he's cool and stylish, with his self-confidence.
