HostWebis is a web hosting and domain registration service based in Porto (Portugal). It is the web hosting branch of Webis, founded in 1998 by Aquilino Ribeiro, graduated in Computer Engineering at Instituto Superior Politécnico Gaya, Vila nova de Gaia (Portugal). HostWebis started having clients with hosting websites, domain registration and dedicated server rentals in 1998. During the period from 2008 to 2012 it was named Webística, Lda.
