This is a Chinese name. The family name is Huang.Huang Minghao (simplified Chinese:黄明昊) (born February 19, 2002), known professionally as Justin (Korean: 저스틴)[1], is a Chinese pop singer. He is both the member of the Chinese boy groups Nine Percent and NEX7. He was first known after participating in the South-Korean Mnet's talent show Produce 101 Season 2.

In April 2017, Huang Minghao participated in the South-Korean Mnet's show Produce 101 Season 2 but was eliminated on episode 8[2]. In January 2018, he participated in the Chinese talent show Idol Producer [3]and debuted as a member of the group Nine Percent in April 2018. In June 2018, his group NEX7 released the first album The First. In July 2018, he participated in the variety show Fantastic Meal Time for the whole series. In July 2018, he participated in the variety show Brave World for the whole series. In September 2018, he participated in the variety show Perfect Restaurant. In November 2018, he released his first personal album Hard Road. In November 2018, his group Nine Percent published the first album TO THE NINES.

Early Life

Huang Minghao was born in Rui' an Zhejiang, China on February 19, 2002. Because his parents manage a business abroad Huang Minghao grew up with his uncle's family in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. He graduated from the Da Guanyuan primary school and often participated in the artistic performance when he was in primary school. He completed the study for the seventh grade in Hangzhou Jinxiu Middle School.[4] Then he participated in the Yuehua Entertainment as a trainee.

Career

2017: Participation in Produce 101 Season 2

In April 2017, Huang Minghao participated in a South-Korea talent show named Produce 101 Season 2 as a trainee[5]. He performed several shows such as 언니 가 참 예 뻐요[6], Shape of You[7] and so on. He acted as a center performer in 언니 가 참 예 뻐요 and got a good assessment from the tutors in the show. He was eliminated on episode 8 in this show.

2018: Debut with Nine Percent and NEX7

In January 2018, Huang Minghao participated in a Chinese show named Idol Producer as a trainee. He performed several shows such as Papillon, EiEi, Can't Stop, It's OK, 24K Magic Remix Havana and so on. After the show was published, he gained a large number of fans. In February, he participated in the TV talk show Happy Camp. In the last stage of the talent show Idol Producer in April 2018, he debuted as the youngest member of the group Nine Percent[8]. After the show, the group Nine Percent went to America for a group training. From May to August in 2018, he participated in the circuit fans conventions in 10 cities with the group Nine Percent.[9] In June 2018, he participated in the variety show Run Brother with the members of the group Nine Percent.[10] In November 2018, he was as a member of the Nine Percent released the album TO THE NINES.

With the releasing of the album THE FIRST which contains three EPs, Huang Minghao debuted as the youngest member with the group NEX7. In July 2018, he participated in the TV talk show Happy Camp again as the member of the group NEX7 [11]and performed rap in song Be by Your Side (Chinese version: 陪在你身旁). In September 2018, he followed the group NEX7 sang the theme song To Be Together (Chinese version: 在一起) for the movie Gu Jian Qitan (Chinese version: 古剑奇谭之流月昭明). On September 14, he participated in the talk show Truth! All things (Chinese version: 真相吧！花花万物) with the group NEX7.[12]

In November 2018, he released his own first album Hard Road on Netease Cloud Music[13].

In July 2018, Huang Minghao participated in the Live science fiction experimental variety show Brave World[14].

In September, he made sure to participate in the interactive reality business variety show The Perfect Restaurant [15]and another same type variety show Fantasy Restaurant [16]was released in this month also. He participated in the recording of the theme song Run away for the variety show Fantastic time.[17]

In October 2018, he participated in the star reasoning variety show Who's the Murderer Season 4.[18]

In August 2018, Huang Minghao participated in the recording of the variety show Fantasy Restaurant His fans sent him a message in the sky of the Gold Coast,=. The local media posted it and introduced Huang Minghao to the public of Australia.

In September 2018, Huang Minghao was appointed by Head Shoulders as the brand ambassador.[19]
