The 2018 World Twenty20 Tournament was the seventh edition of the World Twenty20, being held in the island chain of West Indies. The Windies hosted this from November 7. It was their second time to host this cup, first being in 2010. It was the first time they hosted it since it changed into the Sixteen Team Tournament Format. As Always, It had sixteen teams, with three rounds totally. The first round was the Group Stage, where the eight lowest rank teams were playing. The topper in each group progressed to the Super 10, joining the top 8 teams, which were Zimbabwe and Netherlands. The third stage was where the top two teams of each Super 10 Group played as a knockout, with semi-finals and a final to decide the winner. Group A
