'Il Vecchio Nerd' (The Old Nerd) , pseudonym of Thomas Scalera (Vairano Patenora, 19 May 1974), is an Italian journalist, writer and youtuber. Together with Salvatore Minieri.[1], he conducted several investigations into environmental crimes, with the same he often presented the book "i Pascià" and "the padroni di Sabbia" . Recently, just with Minieri, he launched a new anti-violence campaign together with Filomena Lamberti, the woman whom her husband scrapped with acid.
