^[1]Indore Institute of Law is a private law college in Indore (MP). It was founded in the year 2003 and offers courses that include two, three, and five years degrees. IIOL is located at Rau Pithampur Road, Opp. IIM, Indore.

It offers B.A.LL.B.(Hons.), B.B.A.LL.B.(HONS.),LL.B.(HONS.),LL.M. In addition to its main academic programs, IIOL is also engaged in facilitating certified diploma program in association with Enhelion Group.

History

Indore Institute of Law was established in the year 2003 and is affiliated to the Bar Council of India & ^[2] Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV), Indore. The college was founded with an objective to provide quality Law education for professionals with proper training based on a scientific basis.

Campus

The Indore Institute of Law campus is located at Rau Pithampur Road, between Pithampur and IIM Indore. The newly constructed building has all the modern amenities and houses a Staff Room, Sprawling Library, Principal’s Office, The Administrative Office, Well Equipped Conference hall, and a Reading room. There is also a separate chamber for faculty members and a dedicated computer lab for research students.

The main building of the college has individual halls for lectures and a seminar hall with a capacity to seat more than 200 persons at a time. The hall is used to conduct special lectures, functions of the college, and regular presentations.

The college also has other facilities for students where they could fully enrich themselves. There is a hostel for female students in the campus with all the amenities; a state of the art computer lab, sprawling cafeteria, playground, and a basketball court to foster the physical health of students.

Housed in the main building, the institute also has a library with all the latest books on the law with volumes of periodicals, newspapers, magazines of different topics and journals. The journals are all the major ones that include, The Cambridge and Oxford Law Journals, England Reports and The American Journal of Comparative Law. The students are issued books and journals of their liking from the library when the same is required by them.

Facilities

The college has dotingly invested a thought in developing a moot court in the campus; IIL has corporate, cultural, and debating cells with a centre for public law. There is also a dispute resolution cell along with international law as well. For the rights cell division, it has Intellectual Property etc.

The college is devoted to provide special programs for students where they are given legal literacy on live scenarios. The college also conducts educational tours to Hon’ble Supreme Court, High Court, and other Historical Places in India to help them see a clear picture for gaining practical experience.

The college also organizes a fest called Lex Bonanza every year which showcases the legal battle between the aspiring lawyers. Fanfares of competitions are organized for sharpening the wits required on the legal arrays.

IIL also offers scholarships for B.A. L.L.B. (Hons) / B.B.A. L.L.B (Hons) 5YDC courses where students can avail Scholarship in their tuition fees. Students who have achieved more than 100 Score in CLAT are also eligible for scholarship as well.
