{{AFC submission|d|v|u=Jerneganl|ns=118|decliner=Legacypac|declinets=20181214064712|ts=20181120144310}} Integrated Rate of Return (IntRR) is a managerial decision-making tool that integrates data about the environmental and social costs and benefits associated with a project proposal into the traditional Internal Rate of Return (IRR) investment decision-making tool. Without an integrated approach to the investment decision-making process, businesses could find that their investments are doing more harm than good.^[1] IntRR supports an integrated management approach and can be utilized by any organization. IntRR, along with Integrated Return on Investment (IntROI), Return on Integration (ROInt), and Integrated Future Value (IntFV) are part of the suite of decision-making tools utilized by an Integrated Enterprise (IntEnt).^[2]

Utilizing the Social Cost of Carbon (SCC) is one way to integrate environmental and social performance into financial decision-making because it measures, in dollars, the damage (avoided) to society and the environment by an organization's operations. Damage avoided would be the SCC benefit of sustainable, greenhouse gas reducing activities, and can be used to off-set some of the costs of capital investments that promote sustainable, generative business practices.
