Internet Privacy in the United States

One of the main concerns for people using the internet is whether information about them and the cites they use are protected and kept private, or whether all of this information is out on the internet for anyone to see. Concerns with these non-internet privacy policies are that internet users don't know that the internet is gathering information about an individual so technically the individual doesn't really have consent for what is being exposed to the internet and what is not. In reality, individuals using the internet shouldn't be concerned about the information they are providing and whether it will be protected on the internet or kept private. Internet users start to get worried about internet privacy therefore, they stop using new or certain cites that might be able to share their browsing history. A lot of internet users are concerned with this topic because they don't want to provide information with a website that will allow it to be exposed anywhere, instead, many internet users prefer to share their information via phone or e-mail because privacy is very important to most citizens of the United States.
