HistoryIonic Composite Lodge No. 520 is a result of consolidation[1] of five masonic lodges: Ionic No. 520, Alexander Graham Bell No. 595, Benjamin Franklin No. 509, John Marshall No. 636, and Composite No. 639. Timeline of consolidation: Ionic No. 520 was established in 1922. Composite No. 639 was established in 1926. On 08/01/1980 Benjamin Franklin No. 509 and Alexander Graham Bell No. 595 merged. On 01/01/1984 John Marshall No. 636 merged with Alexander Graham Bell-Benjamin Franklin No. 595 and created Tri No. 595. On 01/01/1992 Composite No. 639 merged with Tri No. 595 and created Composite No. 595. The building was completed in 1950. The first floor is designed to accommodate commercial tenants. The second floor is dedicated to masonic lodge meetings and rented for private events. The lodge room has original wooden handcrafted lodge furnishings used for ceremonial meetings.
