Irta'ash - A Hope of Life (ارتعاش) is a health sector social venture incubated in IBA AMAN Center for Entrepreneurial Development ^[1] Main Campus Karachi. It is a registered social venture licensed under ‘The Societies Registration Act 1860’ by the Government of Sindh and operates as Irta’ash Foundation. Its operations are run by its Executive Committee which is an apex policy making body.

It is based on a model that screens leukemia (blood cancer) suffered children, who are considered to be in the initial stages of this deadly disease. It screens children from age group of 01 to 10 through organizing free medical camps in rural areas. In medical camps, doctors examine children for finding the presence of any sign (symptoms) of leukemia and perform various tests. In case of any positive test results, the screened patient is immediately referred and taken to charitable tertiary care hospital for proper treatment in order to avoid later incurable severe stages.
