Ivan Tymchenko (укр. Іван Тимченко) is a Ukrainian film director and cinematographer. Born on August 29, 1979 in Kyiv. His father is a cinematographer Volodymyr Tymchenko.

Ivan first started to work as a reportage photographer for such magazines and newspapers as: Sport Courier, Ukraine Today, Kyiv Post, Dzerkalo Tyzhnia and many others.

After the high school he enrolled the department of Journalism in Taras Shevchenko National University. Graduated in 2002.

From 2002 till 2009 Ivan was working as a commercial photographer.

Since 2009 Ivan starts a Director of Photography (DOP) career. He did numerous advertising commercials and short films.
