In 2018, at age 12, he produced nuclear fusion using a fusor, making him the current youngest to do so and the first kid to do fusion.[1][2] Personal life and educationJackson Oswalt was born in 2005 in Memphis, Tennessee to Chris and Jennifer Oswalt. Jackson currently attends Memphis University School. In February 2018, Jackson was recognized as the first kid to build and operate a nuclear fusion reactor at age 12, replacing Taylor Wilson as the youngest "fusioneer"[3]. He now looks to start an organization to fund the projects of kids like himself.
