By the end of 2014 Jackson was training with the Under 20's Australian Football Team Auckland CityIn September 2014, it was announced that he had joined Waitakere's local rivals Auckland City FC for the upcoming ASB Premiership season. Australia's Under 20'sOn October 2015, Jackson signed with the Australia national under-20 soccer team. On 16 March 2016, he scored his debut goal for the club, scoring with a powerful drive into the bottom right corner. On 20 March 2016, Jackson signed a new 2-year contract with Wellington Phoenix. On 29 February 2016, he signed a new 2-year contract extension with the Wellington Phoenix keeping him with the club until the end of 2017–18 season.
