Jacqueline Ward (born 1961) is an author from Manchester, UK. She was born in Oldham in 1961 and attended Bluecoat Secondary School. Her first degree in psychology was from Open University, and her doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University. WritingHer first novel, SmartYellowTM, was published in 2015 by Elsewhen Press, writing as J A Christy.[1] This was followed by the DS Pearce series published in 2015/16 by Kindle Press.[2] In 2017, Ward signed with Corvus Atlantic Books who published her psychological thriller Perfect Ten in September 2018[3][4] Geoffrey Wansell praised the book in his review for the Daily Mail, calling it "wildly entertaining".[5] Academic career and awardsShe is also known as Jacqueline Christodoulou-Ward and received an MBE in 2013 for services to vulnerable people.[6] She is a Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society.
