James A. Wiggins was a political leader in Florida. He was part of Florida's Constitutional Convention of 1861.[1] He was appointed to an executive council that met with governor in 1862.[2] He was part of the committee in the House of Representatives that recommended the creation of Perry County.[3] He was part of the Methodist Episcopal Conference of the South.[4] In 1892, a James A.
