Jaume Tàpies is the former CEO of Relais & Châteaux.^[1]^[2] In 2013 he co-founded Aina Hospitality, together with Liza Masias. He served as Vice-President of the Associated Members of the UNWTO and was a member of the WTTC (World Travel & Tourism Council).^[3]

He owns the Relais & Châteaux “El Castell de Ciutat” in La Seu d’Urgell (Spain)^[4] and is a director and shareholder of the Real Estate development company Gestora Hotelera SA (Andorra).

Jaume Tàpies was also an international cross country Ski champion.^[5] In 1989 he graduated cum laude in Hotel Management with specialization in Financial Management at Centre International Glion, Switzerland.
