Jay Allen (born June 6, 1986) is an American country music singer.

He was born in Iowa and began performing in church. He received a guitar from his parents for his 11th birthday. After working as musical director at several churches in Atlanta and Savannah, Georgia before making the move to Nashville, eventually signing with Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

He released a 5-song EP The First Five on Treehouse Records in 2017, featuring the single "Sounds Good to Me" which was included on Sirius XM The Highway's Highway Finds program.

He released the single, "Blank Stares" in April 2017. The song, co-written with Jason Nix, tells the story of his mother's battle with early onset Alzheimer's. The song gained traction[1] in the summer of 2018 after a fan recorded a performance of Jay singing the song to his mother at a concert in Iowa. He has since performed and discussed the song with PeopleNow[2], Ty, Kelly & Chuck[3], and Pickler & Ben[4]. Fan-shot videos of his performance of the song have reached 100 Million views on Facebook.
