Jeff Slate (born February 6, 1967) is an American musician, writer, and music journalist. He has contributed music and culture articles to Esquire Magazine since 2013. He has written for Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, NBC News, Rock Cellar Magazine, among others. A native of Connecticut, Slate has a bachelor’s degree from New York University.
