Larner grew up in Los Angeles where he spent the first 20 years of his career in the entertainment industry. Most notably as MTV star and pro-skateboarder Rob Dyrdek's manager and business partner. Since that time Larner has been engaged in the buying and selling of blue chip artwork for himself as well as a prestigious US and international client list consisting of athletes, celebrities, and tech entrepreneurs. Specializing in Post-War and Contemporary art, Larner is currently active on the global art scene and has conducted major transactions with many noted artists, such as: Mark Rothko, Yayoi Kusama, Rudolf Stingel, Felix Gonzalez-Torres, Bruce Nauman, Donald Judd, Albert Oehlen, Ed Ruscha, Kerry James Marshall, Mark Grotjahn, and, Roy Lichtenstein. Larner is also an active advocate of the arts, serving on the board of trustees for Bomb Magazine. In addition to buying and selling artwork, Larner has contributed to the success of many startups is a leading angel investor with a portfolio including companies such as Postmates, Dollar Shave Club, Rappi and many others Personal Larner divides his time between New York City and Maui with his wife Gabriela and their two children.
