He received his undergraduate degree at the Wayne State University in May 2018. CareerYouTube careerMcAnally is well known on the internet for creating a Youtube series entitled xXJessWorldXx -- later rebranded into 'Musical Theatre Lives' -- where he would analyze topics within the musical theatre landscape with a vulgar touch. The Youtube channel began in September of 2009, and has been held in an indefinite hiatus since July of 2015. Beyond YouTubeMcAnally wrote, directed, and produced eight short films from 2014 to 2018, several garnering awards and recognition from both domestic and international film festivals. [7] In 2019, McAnally started a podcast entitled 'Musicals with Cheese' where he and co-host Andrew DeWolf talk about Muiscal Theatre in a humorous manner. Guests of this podcast include Brent Black, Allison Pregler, Elisa Hansen, Adam Wachter, Christina Bianco, and Katie Lynch.
