Jess Jeetly MBE is a British entrepreneur who lives in Birmingham, UK. She is the Founder and CEO of Jeetly, a clothing brand for petite women.

Early life and education[edit]

Jeetly, the eldest of three girls, grew up in Coventry and attended King's High School. She graduated from Cardiff University with her BSc Hons in Optometry.

Career[edit]

While working as an optometrist in 2005, Jeetly founded pitchINDIA, an online 'dragon's den' platform connecting entrepreneurs in India to angel investors worldwide,

In 2009 Jess Jeetly co-founded LocumLog, a mobile app connecting employers to locum medical professionals looking for work.

Having struggled for years to find clothes that fit her 5'1 height, Jess launched Jeetly.com, a specialist brand of clothing for petite women in January 2014. The business won TechCity's Best FashTech Startup of The Year^[1] and was shortlisted for 'Best Fashion Innovation' by Drapers^[2] and [https://www.retail-week.com/?authent=1 Retailweek]. In April 2014, Jeetly opened a Popup store in the Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham.

As a mother to one daughter, Jess Jeetly is passionate about empowering girls in tech and entrepreneurship and promotes girls’ participation in STEM subjects as a speaker for schools. She has been Committee Chair at the International Women In Business Organisation (2012-2017) ^[3]. In the 2016 Birthday Honours, Jeetly was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for her services to Entrepreneurship.
