| 释义 | JFG. Jon Goodyear ( Born January 12, 1983) is a music artist from St. Louis, MO. JFG is a refined version of the artist J-Skeet. Taking hip hop as his primary inspiration, he infuses his love for rock, pop, and electronoc in to what he calls a no genre type of music that is made from the heart. Early Career: Starting off as an underground rap artist, throwing local shows and opening for bigger name artist, Jon (then known as J-Skeet) quickly gained respect in and around St. Louis, and the midwest, from fans, and other artists. After forming Dirty House Wreckordz, and his rap duo 55 South with co-rap artist Truth, Jon was fortunate enough to get radio play with the song Rubberbands. Jon would eventually go on to help form Million Dolla Musik with other well known St. Louis rap artists Jelly Joe and Nick Diesel. MDM would go on to relase their "Make Some Musik" album in 2009. The album was full of upbeat catchy songs, and was an instant hit. In 2010, Jon moved to North Hollywood, California, and dropped the name J-Skeet. With his music style changing, focusing more on pop, and rock, but still heavily influenced by rap, Jon decided it was time for a change. And that change needed to reflect who he is, and what he feel like it truly means to be him. JFG was born. Who are you??? Jon Fucking Goodyear! JFG still lives in Orange County and continues to make music, though it has taken a backseat to his family life at the moment. |
