Joanne Elizabeth Tucker (born June 26, 1982) is an actress in Listen Up Philip, Gayby and Zero Days. She is also co-founder of Arts in the Armed Forces[1] with her husband Adam Driver. Early LifeJoanne was born in the USA on June 26 1982. She studied at Dalton School, New York and later studied Theater and Performance at Bard College, New York. CareerJoanne Graduated from Julliard as part of the Drama Division's Group 38 (2005 - 2009)[2]. She appeared in several productions during her time in Julliard, including Getting Out[3], Fables of la Fontaine[4], Julius Caesar[5], As You Like It[6], Burn This[7] and The Greeks Part Three: The Gods[8]. Joanne's first film role was in the short After You Left [9][10] which debuted at VisionFest NY 2010, and was an official selection of Sundance Film Festival 2011. Shortly afterwards she also appeared in Party Trick [11][12] and 8 minute short about a guest at a Cinco de Mayo celebration with a strange party trick. In 2011 she starred in the short Loft[13], and later that year had a supporting role in I'm Coming Over[14][15] as well as providing voiceover for Prohibition[16] and The Roosevelts episodes 1[17], 3[18] and 4[19]. In 2012, She appeared in Gayby[20], as well as returning to the stage in Through the Yellow Hour[21]. In 2013 she appeared in Teenage[22], Jack heart Jump[23], and Babes[24]. In 2014 she had a supporting role in Listen Up Philip[25] and in 2016 in Zero Days[26]. In 2016 she appeared in Billions season 1 Episode 6 'The Deal'[27] , and in Girls season 5 episode 7 'Hello Kitty'[28].
Personal lifeJoanne attended Julliard as part of the Drama Division's Group 38 where she met her future husband actor Adam Driver. In 2006 Tucker and Driver founded Arts in the Armed Forces, a non-profit dedicated to bringing theater to those serving in the armed forces.
