| 释义 | JoJo Gomez is a 25-year-old dancer, choreographer, and YouTuber. She was born in the United States on July 9, 1993. She currently has a 400K-600K net worth. JoJo grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts but was born in Fairview, New Jersey. The very next day after she graduated from high school she moved to LA to pursue her dance career when she was just 17. JoJo has been dancing since a very young age, but when she turned 11 and was trained in all areas of dance, her parents urged her to start doing competitions. JoJo then became a protege by winning a scholarship. She missed lots of school because of this and going on tours that took her to places as far as L.A. and Canada. Because she stood out so much because of how fearless she is on expressing herself she got made fun so she didn’t really mind missing school. JoJo has now danced on the VMAs where she paid tribute to Britney Spears in 2011, for America’s Got Talent, The Voice, Radio Disney, and X Factor. She has also danced for celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Beyonce Knowles, Kimberly Cole, and Stefan Kendal Gordy. At one point things changed for JoJo and at every audition, she was told to lose weight, but she was very talented. So she quit auditioning and decided to make her own brand. She kept training and made sure to choreograph daily. She worked for kids dance classes and more. She then started posting her choreographed videos on Youtube where she has now 1.1M subscribers on YouTube alone[1]. She also posts videos to her Instagram where she has 1.3M subscribers. JoJo has been an inspiration to many young dancers because in the dance industry most famous choreographers are much older and she is only 25. Soon dance companies started asking Jojo to come and teach choreography after they saw her videos on Youtube. At one point Millenium dance complex asked her to come to teach. She says “My first class, I had five people, [but] Millennium kept inviting me to come and sub. My YouTube channel started growing because I’d film my classes, which were growing in attendance by the day. After a year, they were selling out.” [2]Once her classes were filling up Tim Milgram, a director, asked to film her classes which made her videos go viral because of how well know he is in the dance industry. Later in November, she was called and asked to choreograph for Tinashe’s new music video, at the time, “Company”. JoJo has now done choreography for other Tinashe music videos such as “Flame”. Jojo regularly teaches choreography at two main studios, Millenium or IDA Hollywood. JoJo posts videos on her YouTube Account as often as possible, but she is very busy. JoJo has recently been booked for “The Backstreet Boys Show” in LA choreographing a routine. She’s not sure what is to come, but hopes to either open her own studio, start her own convention, or maybe just continue down the Path she headed on.
