BiographyLongo was influenced by disco and early hip hop music while growing up in the New York city area. His earliest known attempts at producing music came with what are known as "pause tapes," a type of mixtape, which then evolved into the use of drum machines and vocal sampling.[1] In the 1990s, Longo was regarded as an icon of the House scene, along with people such as Larry Heard, Kerri Chandler, Todd Edwards, and Cajmere.
