Public Service / CareerJoshua Bawa served as Director General of Millennium Development Goal (MDG) and is a onetime Chief of Staff to ex -governor Muazu Babangida Aliyu, also a former Commissioner for Special Duties in the same administration but the ex -governor changed his portfolio to Commissioner Science and Technology ministry following the resignation of five commissioners who left the cabinet to run for various political offices. He was a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Niger State but defected from the party and joined the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) due to the level of favouritism and godfatherism experienced at the party.
