LEGEND OF IDIA. THE CALL OF THE MASK. By Jovita Efehi Obadolagbonyi

"Come Rona."

"Who are you?" She said, blinking her eyes lazily.

"I am Idia, custodian of the mask. Come with me"

Her voice was soft and enchanting. She looked into her eyes and stretched her slim, long and well toned hands towards her.

"Come Rona. Come."

Rona eyes shone and she immediately floated along, responding to her call. Rona was wearing a pink linen gown that flowed to her feet, she was beautiful.

She was conscious, yet it felt like she was dead. She moved towards the door of her apartment and it flung open on its own accord. Idia stepped out and she followed her with the same pace.

They got to the door and went through it. Immediately, she noticed the change in the atmosphere. It was morning and cold. The dew had moistened the earth. She could feel. She was half awake and half dead.

There was a palace ahead of her. By mere wishes, she moved effortlessly. Idia had disappeared and she was left alone in the space which was remote, and in many ways, ancient. She had never seen anything like what was before her.
