Jyoti Prasad Deori is the first Film maker of Deori Tribe community of Eastern part of India, First Deori Film work started in the year 1996 and released in the year 1997.As a Quest for marketing, he went to Kironban Deori then Deori Student Union President and discussed feasibility of a Deori Film Making and know about the population pattern of Deori Community. Kironban Deori Suggested and recommended a name called Rajkumer Deori,Who is also very interested in film making.Then Jyoti & Rakumar episode began. With the help of Music maestro Chackroporty Deori,Singer:- Zubin Garg, Jitul Sonuwal, Queen Hazarika,Beauty Saikia,Mridula Hazarika and Jyoti Prasad Deori released first Deori Film "CHEKU NUWANUMA" song.' CHEKU NUWANUMA means burning heart this name was given by renown deori cultural icon Sri Chandrasingh Deori of Guwahati. After 8 years gap Jyoti Prasad Deori again made a 2nd Deori Film 'MIRASI" which was superhit, Songs are Composed by Late Satrajeet Bikram Deori sang by Satrajit Bikram Deori, Nitibrat Deori.
